Please reach out to your manager if you need any assistance in getting Dayforce set up for you!

Applying for internal Positions

If you are interested in applying for an internal position, please follow these steps:

  • Review the qualifications and requirements of the position. Consider these questions: Am I able to demonstrate I have the training and skills needed for the position? Do I meet the qualifications? Am I able to commit to the schedule?
  • Discuss the opportunity with your manager. Remember they will be used as your reference during this process.
  • Complete an internal application form. This form will be directly submitted to the hiring manager and HR.  Please do not go through Indeed.  We want your resume at the top of our pile.
  • Prepare for the interview. Ask your manager for any tips they can share with you.  Consider preparing examples of when you demonstrated behaviours relating to HHF's Vision, Missions, Values.
    • Use the STAR method when providing your answers. (Situation: Set the scene and give the necessary details of your example; Task: Describe what your responsibility was in that situation; Action: Explain exactly what steps you took to address it; Result: Share what outcomes your actions achieved)
  • Attend the interview. Be on-time and prepared for demonstrating why you are the best candidate for the position.
  • If you are not successful, ask the hiring manager what you could have done differently to learn for the next opportunity available for you. HHF is committed to seeing our staff grow within the organization. Please ask how you might be able to do to prepare you for that next opportunity.

Celebrating Zero Incidents!

We wanted to take this opportunity to recognize staff on their incredible achievement of reaching zero workplace incidents in the month of August.  This means that no injuries were sustained by any member of our team and no property damaged was reported throughout HHF.  This achievement was paired with consistent reporting and timely control of hazards as they presented themselves.

During the October Employee Meetings, Directors were happy to be there to announce this achievement and provide staff with a reward for reaching this milestone.  If you haven't received your reward, please see the site leadership team.

We ask that you continue to report any incidents and hazards when they occur.

Thank you again to all staff for continuing their commitment to keep themselves and others safe!
