Dr. T.W.E. Henry House is a 4 story apartment building with 32 one bedroom apartments (520 square feet). The apartment building was built in 1984, is provincially owned and provides affordable housing options to seniors 65 years of age or older who are active and enjoy their independence. The apartment building is located next to Fort Saskatchewan’s Pioneer House, a gathering place for adults 50 years and older. Pioneer House provides a wide variety of leisure activities and is a very popular place for tenants of the apartment who enjoy getting out and being involved in their community. It is within walking distance of Fort Saskatchewan’s downtown business core which includes the library and civic centre, banks, churches, a major grocery store, and a city park.

Renters Insurance

Heartland Housing Foundation requires all renters to have personal property coverage and general liability insurance with a coverage amount of at least $1 million.

Apartment Cost

A resident's monthly rent is based on 30% of the resident's gross monthly income and is reviewed and adjusted annually.

Annual Income = $16,000

Monthly Income = $1,333

30% Monthly Rent = $400
