Heartland Housing Foundation reserves the right to evaluate the sustainability ofย an application for tenancyย based on income.ย This ensures that tenants are not adversely impacted by their responsibility to pay rent monthly and supports the sustainability of our operations and our ability to serve the community.ย

We will discuss withย applicants what a sustainable tenancy could look like for them given their income. When necessary, we can suggestย other housing options available within the regionย that may be more aligned with the applicantโ€™s income.
